Artist's Statement:

“I have experimented with and enjoy various media, but I especially love the spontaneity and versatility of watercolor. I love color and I like to experiment with my palette.

While my paintings are constantly evolving and my subject matter varies, I find I am drawn to paintings that tell a story, ask a question or make you smile. Humor is often a by-product of my paintings. For me, painting is a time to escape the more serious issues of our lives and "lighten up". The process of painting is pure joy and a gift to share.

My inspriation for my subject matter can come from anywhere, but I find I am often inspired by a blank piece of paper, my imagination and the anticipation of where the process leads me.

I enjoy the constant journey of discovery that painting takes me on and hope I can pass that joy on to others thru my painting.
